Admission Requirements
- Academic: Strong CGPA in Bachelor's or school leaving certificate (HZB) matching German standards.
- English/German: IELTS 6.5 (for English-medium courses) or TestDaF (for German-medium courses).
- Blocked Account: Mandatory blocked funds of €11,904 in a German bank (e.g. Fintiba) to prove living cost.
- Documents: Uni-Assist application proof, admission letter, blocked account receipt, and health insurance cover.

Step-by-Step Visa Process
- 1. Apply to German universities directly or via the Uni-Assist portal.
- 2. Receive your official admission or enrollment letter.
- 3. Open a Blocked Account (Sperrkonto) with Fintiba/Expatrio and transfer €11,904.
- 4. Purchase German private/public student health insurance.
- 5. Schedule a National Visa appointment at VFS Germany in India.
- 6. Submit your passport, blocked account token, and biometrics. Stamped visa takes 4-8 weeks.
Work Rights after Graduation
Graduates are granted an 18-month Job Seeker Visa to find employment matching their academic qualifications. Part-time work limit is 140 full days or 280 half days per year.
