Step-by-Step Visa Process

  1. 1. Secure an admission offer and Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from a DLI university.
  2. 2. Pay the first-year tuition fee deposit to the university.
  3. 3. Open a Canadian GIC account (e.g. Scotiabank) and transfer CAD 20,635.
  4. 4. Complete your upfront medical examination at an approved panel clinic.
  5. 5. Lodge your Study Permit application online via the IRCC portal.
  6. 6. Attend VFS Global to submit your biometrics, then receive your visa approval.

Work Rights after Graduation

Graduates of eligible DLI programs receive a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) for up to 3 years, allowing them to work for any employer in Canada.
